Shredding Event
Saturday, March 29, 9-11 a.m.
South Park High School Parking Lot
2005 Eagle Ridge Road, South Park
I am co-hosting with Sen. Devlin Robinson a free on-site document shredding event. No more than three grocery bags or small boxes per household are permitted. All bags or boxes of items to be shredded must be placed in the trunk of the vehicle. Once you arrive at the event, please open your trunk and stay inside your vehicle. The items will be removed, boxes will be returned to the trunk, and your trunk will then be shut.
This is for personal items only. No businesses, please. No large binder clips or hardbound covers will be accepted. Materials more than one-inch thick will need to be broken down prior to being put through the machines. My staff and I will be available to assist and provide information regarding consumer protection and identity theft.
Hard-to-Read License Plate Event
Saturday, May 17, 9 a.m. to noon
Jefferson Hills Public Works Department
925 Old Clairton Road, Jefferson Hills
Is your plate blistered, peeling, discolored or lost its reflectivity? If so, you should have your license plate replaced or risk being fined.
To help facilitate the process to receive a free standard issue new plate, I am teaming up with local police for a special event. Drivers can bring their vehicles to the Jefferson Hills Public Works Department. Police then will determine if the plate is illegible and help drivers fill out the appropriate paperwork. You will need your driver’s license and vehicle registration. The new replacement plate will arrive at your home address with a new registration card in a few weeks.
RSVP is requested by clicking here.
Fees dependent upon requested license plate.
